You've qualified for the greatest show on earth, Break-In!!! Together with your team you'll smash goons, collect weapons and power-ups, and fight your way to the final room!

This is meant to be a fun, low-investment one-shot that'll be over-the-top action from start to finish. If you've enjoyed games like Smash TV or Monday Night Combat, you're too busy with life to commit to a full campaign, or you get nerves playing with new people, this should be right up your alley 🙂

System
The system is one I've been building for a few years called Crossguard. It's a fast-playing crunchy system focused on immersion, with a goal of incentivising big brain strategy and high-risk, high-payoff plays. You don't need to read up on any rules beforehand; I'll give a brief overview of the core rules on the day, or beforehand. You can just tell me what you wanna do, and I'll adjudicate.

We'll be using roll20 for the map/rolls and google sheets for the character sheets. I'll be providing premade character sheets (Defender, Brawler, Heavy, Pyro, Gunslinger and Sharpshooter), but if you want to customise before the game, I'm happy to run through what you can do.

Player Requirements
Cordial, mature (ish). A decent mic and a pair of headphones.

I'm an old millennial, but any ages are welcome so long as you're 18+ and don't mind dad humour.

There will be comedic violence and that's about it.

Organisation
Tentatively looking at Sunday 23rd November at 1:30pm GMT. Flexible. I imagine the game will take about 2 hours, but it might run longer. I'd ideally like 3-4 players.

About Me
I design games. I am a lizard father.

I'm interested and I can make the available time and date on my end. I love trying out new systems and crazy one shots.
