My favorite way to teach 5e to new players is to give them a deck of cards that are color-cooridnated to all the actions, bonus actions, and move actions they can make on their turn, and I think that will work even better in Draw Steel.
I'm trying to get a game together for newcomers, and I noticed there weren't any cards in the pre-gen character sheets for the "Core" actions and maneuvers every class can do (Grab, Knockback, Heal, etc), so I made them.
I wanted to share the vector file I made in Inkscape of all the different layouts of cards so anyone else can use them freely or modify them. I also included the cards themselves, as well as a sheet of various layouts of blank cards to print and hand-write. Eventually, I'd like to also create an entire playerboard with slots and holders for tokens to represent different resources,
Enjoy!
