Dear friends, I am incredibly proud to announce that my first adventure is done! Please enjoy this dungeon-delve designed for third-level heroes.

An elementalist’s experimentations have disrupted the chrono-stasis seal on an ancient tomb containing a cadre of time raiders. Freed from their temporal prison, these visitors from the Sea of Stars now gather to plan their revenge—defeat them before they regain their strength!

Dive into this adventure inspired by the actual tombs of the Valley of the Kings in Egypt to discover 5 unique treasures, several strange crystalline substances, 2 new kits, and 2 new monsters!

how many victories/sessions estimated is this?

I think it's between 10-13 victories? It depends on the group for sure. I would estimate 3-4 sessions, but a highly motivated group could complete the adventure in 2-3 sessions, whereas a group that wants to dig in could probably extend it to 5.

how do you rectify players being noisy in the pit room (room 3) and the timeraiders in room 4 not alarming?

Hi @tall cedar ,
Do you have a higher resolution version of the map available?
In its current form it has I think 50ppi.

If you have a bigger version, could you cut it in half like in the adventure book, and upload them individually? That would be really helpful for VTT purposes

Hi Paul,
I'm prepping this adventure in the Codex and want to make proper use of the elevation feature, so here are a few new questions for you that I rather post here than DMing you,a s they might be interesting for others too:

    1. The description of room 2 (Descending Stairs) (see screenshot 1) reads After the stairs descend for 10 squares, they split, revealing a deep chasm. My question for this is, which part is the descending 10 squares? the stairs before the split (making up 5 squares of horizontal space), or the split stairs (making up 10 squares of horizontal space)? Could this be a typo and it should read "After the stairs descend for 10 steps, they split, revealing a deep chasm.
  • mostly unrelated to the elevation tool: Room 3 (the pit) says to use the mechanics of the Corrosive Pool DTO, but how much of the Corrosive pool stat block is applicable? (see screenshot 2): Just the damage mechanic of 3 damage for initial touch down plus 3 for every square? Or also the flammability mechanic resulting in the explosion triggered action? also the stamina and the fact that you can destroy squares of it?

thanks

additionally, if I count the steps correctly between Room 5 (Altar Reliquary Room) and Room 6.3 (Heart Chamber) there is seemingly a 12 steps (6 squares?) elevation difference, 4 sq coming from Room 3 down the stairs into room 6, and another 2 sq descending into the central chamber of room 6 to get to 6.3/
Is that correct?
