@rare kayak Here's what I came up with. It's a bit more general frogfolk than angulotl specifically, but should do the trick. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1i7_crVbpuTz4XlG2eAxZkFmaEeBCy4UwqLBromvyj8M/edit?usp=sharing

How so? Feels like the ways to make it more angulotl-y would add some pretty huge detriments

#

Also, I see some issues with your tongue tied/twister changes. Maneuvers don't typically have power rolls so your version should probably be an action. Also, ancestry abilities always give multiple options for the associated characteristic so should probably be roll + M or A.

#

Monster ones can and some higher level Hero ones that cost HR do but usually no

#

Those are kind of unique cases since they are system wide, class and ancestry ones don't

#

I'm not 100% sure on the size rules but I think that as written having it target creatures 'your size' would mean 1S only? Maybe it would be size 1 inclusive but I don't know for sure, I'm waiting for the finished books to really dig in to analyzing

#

That would actually be a perfect fix

#

really elegant

#

That would probably just be a 1 cost trait

Nice, Song of Storms is a fun one. I was kind of reticent to draw from the malice features but it definitely makes it more angulotl-y

#

One thing I thought about but didn't end up doing is something based on the 'indicator species' section of the lore. Give them some kind of rage or frenzy if they take poison/acid/corruption damage or something

Happy to help, hope it ends up being fun to use

And thanks for this prompt, really got me back in the design swing
