Start by mixing and matching existing ancestry traits to move you in the direction of your ancestry.
There is no "way to think about it" other than just comparison with what exists and trying stuff
Agreed! Many current traits are applicable to a lot of ancestries - you can often just change a name but keep the feature.
I'm actually currently writing up a guide with this exact information. It's not quite complete yet, but 95% done (just missing the full trait list at the end). here you go!
