Since knockback and positioning play big and fun roles in this game, I wanted to potentially make something utilized when Stability > Resolved Push/Pull/Slide

I kinda wanted to see if a Free Triggered Action could be made where the creature that was able to remain stable could Push/Pull/Slide the creature that attempted it the remainder

Is this too silly? Felt like a cool fantasy to give someone who has invested in stability

Thanks for any thoughts!

I could see something working if it cost a Triggered Action. If it was Free though, you run into the same question of monsters free striking a fury using Stab Me So I Can... from the backer packet. "Why would a monster do this if it knows it's gonna end in itself getting hurt?"

Absolutely could be a super cool and interesting Ward-like thing costing a Triggered Action

I just pictured a Fury laughing at a tier 1 result that didn’t move them and was like, “Now I move you”. Yeah, should probably cost something though

If it's free and everyone always uses it, you could make an infinite loop of two stability 2 characters continually pushing each other 1

Now I want to know how to make the Void elementalist make this happen

I think I would just do something like use your triggered action to inflict:

  • lv 1: attacker takes 1 damage per remaining force move squares
  • lv 4: 3 damage per
  • lv 7: 6 damage per
  • lv 10: 9 damage per

basically the Hurling Through Objects table

but you could definitely come up with something fancier and cooler if you wanted. Especially if it wasn't a ubiquitous thing and instead is a class ability or ward or something
