I’m seeking 3-4 players for a play-by-post 5e game of the adventure from Kingdoms & Warfare.
Schedule
Players should post at least once a day. Posts should have at least some action and/or dialogue.
Game Style
• 15-20 combats
• 5-10 negotiation scenes
• 3-5 travel skill challenges (see “Running the Game: Making Travel Interesting”)
• 1-5 lair exploration scenes
• 2-3 Warfare battles
Premise
Enemy forces will soon march against us. We need to forge alliances. This requires some adventuring, like slaying monsters troubling our potential allies. We might even sabotage the enemy by infiltrating a location, completing some objectives, and escaping. We’ll also use the Intrigue rules from K&W here to gain intel on our enemy and protect our intel.
The last part of the adventure is a climactic battle. The PCs face the enemy realm’s leaders in combat while our forces meet in battle.
Getting Started
The PCs already know each other and lead an organization. We’ll choose from the K&W book to determine the organization type. They have already claimed an old castle from orcs in their last adventure. The party will decide if it was done peacefully or not.
Magic Items
Each PC will gain 2 magic items during the adventure. Please choose any (very rare or lower rarity) for me to plant in the adventure.

- Degrees of success and failure, including failing forward, on skill checks

- Level 7, advancing to 8 before the last combat

Time Zones
It’s PBP; time zones aren’t important. I’ll be most active 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST.
