January 2023 free trpg one-off adventure

hello, today i invite you to the first monthly free ttrpg one-off

what is this: throughout the year 2023 i am (currently just me) am going to be running a one-off in a completely different ttrpg system every month. the catch is that each system i run is a completely free system.

what to expect: i tend to have a bias toward sword and sorcery fantasy though im still finding my style as a game master, i will do my best to write and run a game that has a bit of story and showcases as many of the key features that the system has to offer as i can. these one-offs should not be approached with a campaign or sandbox mindset however as they will be written to follow a specific narrative i come up with for each simply to reduce the work i have to put in to run one each month.

where do we play: when i compile groups of players together ill notify you of the time we will be playing at, and i will create a group dm between all players for that group where we will play at the agreed upon date.

this months game system: low-fantasy gaming

this ttrpg is a bit of a mix of D&D 3.5 and the old D&D basic with some new elements thrown in. the system has heroic fantasy vibes and some interesting features of this system include the lack of saving throws, wisdom ability score, and how classes have abilities that allow you to pull abilities from any d20 system game (with GM approval). you can find a copy of low fantasy gaming here https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/231747/Low-Fantasy-Gaming-RPG

for this one-off i ask all characters be 4th level, generate ability scores and hp as per the default rules given in the system. dwarves and elves permitted. instead of buying starting gear, give yourself 2d8+8 common items, 1d6+6 uncommon items, 1d4+4 rare items. use starting gold to buy weapons and armor, you may have 3 silver or cold iron weapon or armor (any combination of) or 1 silver or cold iron weapon or armor and a mithril or adamantine weapon or armor. you may also spend your starting gold on animals and vehicles should you wish. you will each be given potions or scrolls of my choosing
