I hate to break it to you, but 6 months is nothing. But keep learning, do side projects, post them online, challenge yourself

I suggest analyzing how you can make your learning process more interesting. Maybe your book/tutorial sucks and gives you too much unnecessary information, or is too complex in general
Maybe you don't learn responsibly and completely skip over the topics you don't understand, instead of figuring them out
Maybe you don't do enough projects in topics that really interest you
