I'm curious to hear how this community deals with the completely open backdoor that every computer has?

Intel management engine, and its and/ryzen counterpart is a processor with its own proprietary operating system embedded in your motherboard or processor. It has FULL access to everything in your computer including memory, screen, keyboard, and networking.

How do you tackle this obvious black hole of non-privacy?

you can't, you must make a new one and move the old array to the newly allocated space
