it could be that you don't have a standard library installed so it doesn't actually include anything
cause that code should work
but I'm wondering why that include doesn't fail then
the standard library is where iostream is
are you actually compiling this as C++?
it might be that your file is wrongly named .c so it tries to compile it as C
