#Struct function isn't being detected

I'm working with gem5 and trying to create a struct with an index, but for some reason the cpp file doesn't detect it. any ideas? screenshots provided since the code is on a google cloud platform instance, which is hard to copy paste from. i should note that similar things do work, and i'm probably just making a silly mistake here.
