I've been on the committee for my college's LGBTQ+ society for the past two years and recently got re-elected for a third. So, that has given me so many opportunities to meet people like me and share my interests with them and for them to share theirs with me. They mean the world to me and I love them all.
I had a good time at my first Pride event
meeting some really nice people
Being myself without judgement. Being free to act and speak and do and laugh and hurt and just be without expectation of what and how I should be
I went to my first pride Saturday. I had so many people come up to me and give me stickers and comment on how happy I looked. It was really fun!
The supportiveness of the following three Discord servers:
LGBTQ+ Discord (This server)
Trans Community Center
Alice's Queer Army
Even if I haven't shown my authentic self too much, the three aforementioned servers have given me some light with which to grow into myself.
This server!! XD
Helping a friend out with a "not so nice" bf
thought she was straight
turns out she was Bi
has a bf who was there with me to sort out the old bf
and they both have a kid now
Having people to play games with and talk to online during lockdowns, making me feel less self conscious about how I look and feel about myself
The Orchard server has helped me explore my gender a lot and been realy good.
