The second person is the most powerful person I mentioned (will probably change the design of the clothing soon

The first person is someone I had forgotten about when I was talking about the most powerful person. The first person is the most powerful person and the second is the one I mentioned yesterday. The first has 50 abilities and 20 curses. Most of the curses and abilities carry alot of power.
I'll explain 2 abilities and 2 curses he has because...no way I'm explaining every ability and curse

A curse he has is the one the girl from yesterday has, when you look in his eyes you get instant fear (this isn't part of the 2 curses Im explaining)

The first curse he has is "dreaded presence". Wherever he is in a 100 meter radius, everyone who has a certain power level or below instantly has their power and energy reduced until they leave the 100 meter radius. His curse is strong enough to kill a child from 0-2 years old if he steps in a 100 meter radius of them. This curse shouldn't be a problem to anyone who's strong enough for the curse to not take effect.

Another curse he has is called "Infinite Speech". This curse takes effect when he speaks, the earth would shake, people would hear a sharp load sound that could puncture a person's ears. His speech is strong enough to explode a small bird. The effects of the speech decrease the further someone gets

An ability he has is cloning (self explanatory)

Another ability he has is dragon breathe (pretty self explanatory)

Another he has is called "shadow manipulation", he can use shadows to travel around and use people's shadows against them. The shadows wouldn't have the same abilities as the victims but they can grab the victim of cause harm to them. This ability is pretty weak though

Another curse he has that I think I should mention is "corroding touch". Any living organism he touches with his hands immediately starts to corrode at the place he's touching and it can spread. The corroding stops when he stops touching the victim. Someone can heal from the corrosion if they have abilities though it takes time. A normal human being can't heal from the corrosion.

A healing ability user will not get affected by this curse as well as ability users with a high amount of power

I should also say that healing ability users will not get affected by most curses from other people. They might have a non-attack ability but that comes with them being able to not get affected by stuff that affect others

Okay, I need to establish more lore.

Evilectric did not "steal" the nature amulet. At the time, the amulets were not guarded because the last time the Soul Demon was released was well over 1,000 years ago, and people had forgotten about it over time. Evilectric has 3 younger cousins, all of whom are superheroes (I've still yet to come up with their powers), and they had recently lost their mother to cancer. Now, since it's been a 1,000 years since the Soul Demon was last sealed away, the seal was starting to weaken, and he used his mind controlling abilities to tempt Evilectric's cousins into releasing him with the promise of bringing back their mother. And he tells them the locations of each of the amulets. So, they ask their older brother (who doesn't have powers) and Evilectric to come along with them because they need adult supervision. (They are unaware that Evilectric has superpowers and of his true feelings about superheroes.) The brother is also affected by the Soul Demon's hypnotism but Evilectric isn't due to his powers. Eventually, they get one of the amulets and they arrive in a village to settle for the night. Evilectric goes to the village library and finds an old book that no one has read for ages stating who the Soul Demon really is. Naturally, he tells the older brother, but since he's already too entranced by the Soul Demon, gets angry at Evilectric, telling him that he's a liar and that he just wants to get his mother back, and that if he even thinks about telling the kids, he'll kill him. So that night, Evilectric uses his super speed to race to the locations of the four remaining amulets and replace them with fakes, not telling anyone what he had done. Over the coming days, the crew finds the rest of the "amulets" and brings them to the Soul Demon's crypt to try and release them. When they realise it's not working, Evilectric reveals what he had done and tries to steal the remaining amulet. However, this brings all the amulets together next to the crypt, and releases the Soul Demon, who promptly possesses Evilectric. Upon being possessed, the others are released from his mind control, and realise that Evilectric was right. They eventually figure out that the Soul Demon cannot function if light cannot enter his victim's eyes. So, they're able to get Evilectric's eyes wrapped up. He is eventually released from the Soul Demon's possession, but that is a story for another time. Anyway, since the Soul Demon has now entered living memory once more, people decided that the amulets need be protected, which is why they now have guardians. And they were returned to their respective locations by the kids and their older brother. The girl who can communicate with animals did not move into the forest until years after this incident.

I do have a suggestion when writing characters tho

Have a motive for your characters. I know, you said that Evilectric doesn't have a motive for what he does but I'm not talking about motives like "World domination" or stuff like that. A motive can be as simple as A character who likes video games got his console stolen and wants to get it back, that type of goal. Not all people have a goal but as a great author once said:
"Characters aren't real people, they are vehicles by which one will tell a story"
And having a goal for that character makes it easier to be able to tell that story

I just had a vision (i was dreaming) of a new character for my universe. This time it's a villain

The character wears samurai Armour and carries a sword.
His abilities are Puppet control and Shadow manipulation.

His main way of fighting would be using a giant frog puppet he created. The frog is made out of a really tough metal found in the world so it's really hard to damage the puppet. The puppet's surface area is almost as big as a football stadium.

The way he fights is using the frog to travel to places he wants to go to then since the frog is large, heroes would have to get on the frog to fight him. But since it's his puppet he has the advantage because he set boobie traps around it that he can control like lifting a platform, making a Wall to stop attacks etc. The frog itself doesn't attack so that his power doesn't deplete too quickly. Moving a puppet of that size is draining.

He also uses normal sized puppets though.

I've come up with a new artifact: The Stop Watch. Allows the user to stop and start time. It can only stop time for up to an hour at a time, and once that hour is up, the watch needs 24 hours to recharge. The user can bring other people into stopped time with them by making physical contact with them while stopping time.

This character has the destructive speech curse
The way she uses it is that she carries a flute and plays to to target specific people/things instead of causing everything to be affected. Since all the power is focused into one person, the person could get serious damaged or if they're weak enough it could explode their organs.

  • Eventually after a few weeks, Elaine starts to realise that Claire isn't there to harm her, and begins talking to her.
  • She tells Claire that her name is Elaine, and that she was kicked out of her home for coming out as a trans woman. She also tells Claire that she can speak with animals. The only question she refuses to answer is about her eyepatch.
  • Eventually, Elaine accepts Claire's invitation to come and stay at her house for a bit.
  • As the months pass by, Elaine starts to become more comfortable in her skin, and is now living with Claire full time, now as girlfriends.
  • Claire is the only human that Elaine fully trusts.
  • As a result, Elaine felt comfortable showing Claire what she looked like without her eyepatch.
  • Elaine will only ever take off her eyepatch when she's alone or for someone she really trusts.
  • Despite initially wearing the eyepatch due to facial dysphoria, which she no longer has, she continues to wear it full time, as she considers her true self to be without an eyepatch, and she doesn't trust the world to know her true self.
  • For Elaine's birthday, Claire buys her a dress and a matching eyepatch, saying that if Elaine is going to wear an eyepatch full time, she might as well rock one in style. Elaine loved this gift very much, and it became a tradition for her to match her eyepatch with her dress.
  • Claire and Elaine eventually marry each other.
  • They go for long walks in the forest where Elaine lived each day and Elaine speaks to the woodland animals and tells Claire all the gossip.

She also comes with the birth of a new type of curse, an after curse. It only activates when the user dies

This particular character has the After Curse of "Bloodmoon"

Upon death by murder, the bloodmoon starts almost immediately no matter what time of day it is.
Demons from the underworld would go to the surface with the objective of eliminating the enemy. This curse is the Queen of curses so it is the most effective out of all curses. No curse/ability can counter it no matter how powerful the user is.

The curse stops when whoever the curse holder thinks of an enemy dies in a specific radius (usually 100km)

The girl that posseses this curse is from a clan, she gets treated like royalty in exchange of her sacrifice on a day they need it

This curse is extremely rare with only 2 people having it in the world

This is because they would be flying the character with the "Bloodmoon" curse to their location to make the sacrifice. This flight takes 18 hours so they would have to hold on for a really long time.
When the girl gets there it's of course going to be flashy when they sacrifice her.
The girl is sacrificed and the demons do what they're supposed to do.
They get rid of the aliens pretty quickly but not before the Space control character dies in the hands of the Queen of the Aliens

The spotlights spring on with a sudden jolt.

A faint clapping echoes throughout the bar. Lukewarm excitement from all except Jes. I can practically see the stars in her eyes.
On the stage stands our opener, I guess. Their drummer, disheveled long hair which probably hasn't seen a comb since β€˜98. Their lead guitarist who's wearing thrift shop chic. And then there's the lead singer. Where to start. He has deep sunken eyes with dark rims that scream sleep deprived. He's got more piercings than I've got exes. And he has a slouched posture that's hurting my neck just looking at it. He drags his feet towards the mic stand.

β€œThank you all for coming.” His raspy voice carries a somewhat crackling quality. Like white noise or radio static. He definitely smokes. β€œWe're gonna play our new EP that you can stream on NoiseBois or TuneAll, it's called Tombstone Taker.”

I have to say these names are, inspired.

Then they start playing and... I don't know what I was expecting. There's so much guitar distortion; the percussion is all over the place. I mean hell the lyrics are barely even legible!

I look to the side and Jes is practically glued to the edge of her seat. She’s taking in every tone, every note that floats across the room to her. Seeing her eat this up is honestly kind of endearing. I might not get it, but I know it makes her happy. And that makes it all worth it in the end. Even if I feel like I'll need a hearing aid after this show...

I thought about the lore of the twins
Their parents were from rival Clans (names undecided), so their birth was despised by clan leaders and members. Their parents agreed to leave their children in an orphanage in exchange to being able to return to their Clans (they were the two most powerful clans, if they didn't agree they would have been killed)

The parents didn't leave the children in an orphanage though, instead left them with a Clan that was known for being kind. The Clan leader found the babies at the front of her doorstep without a trace of where they came from. Without questioning, the leader took them in and raised them to be fighters.

Tho because of the sisters curse, she couldnt be taught how to fight without being able to see, and if she wanted to see the instructors wouldnt be able to teach her if they have constant induced fear. The only instructor who had the healing ability (she isnt affected by her curse) taught her how to use her ability and other things tho none of them are any fighting skills, so she doesnt know how to fight at all.

The brother was given a special katana which was made for the sole purpose of having Fire users be able to use it, it is made out of a really hard steel that is super efficient at using a users fire.

I'll just talk about one tho

His name is Mark (not final) and he is also a hero. He has no curses but has one ability, the electric ability.

Mark was raised by his uncle who was a guitarist. While his mom and dad were both alive, they were divorced and Mark had to live with his uncle because his dad and mom were always working and couldn't have the time to take care of him.

Whenever he got sad, his uncle would play his favorite song on the electric guitar.

Now we get to the juicy superhero stuff.

As I've said before, he has the electric ability.
The unique way he uses this ability is through a guitar, he has an electric guitar on him at all times even during battle.
He can of course do the normal electric user moves.
He can manipulate the rifts from the guitar whenever he plays them to do an attack.
How the attack works is he plays the guitar and his electricity goes through the rifts created by his guitar and travels to the enemy, electrifying them. This is currently the only way (other than the lightning attack) to attack someone with the electric ability without having either direct or indirect contact with them.

The other thing that Mark can do is use the guitar rifts to make a forcefield around him.

Her ability also allows her to communicate not just with animals, but with humans speaking another language and alien life.

Effectively is how it works is that she speaks in English (which is her native tongue), but anyone who hears it hears it in their native tongue. But when they speak, she hears it in English. In other words, she can understand everyone, and everyone can understand her.

I'll start with Eric

#

He holds the extremely rare ability of the white dragon. Unlike every other ability, this ability allows the user to work within living organisms. Unlike other abilities which would just affect living organisms but come from the user, this one can manifest itself into the organism and its soul. Which brings me to the first thing the ability can do, it can have an organism explode or implode in on itself. This ability only works with all normal humans and most ability users with only very few exceptions. He can also dissenegrate demons by touching them.

Another thing the ability enables him to do is power manipulation, basically using his pure power to make energy blasts and stuff like that.

Another thing it lets him do is practically take away an ability users ability.

He can also call upon the white dragon to help him (the white dragon is essentially just a normal chinese dragon that can fly but is almost immortal), he can fly, teleport, telekinesis, explode and wipe everything close to him, produce a forcefield, super speed and basically everything someone with space manipulation can do.

He is also immune to every curse. But he is not immortal

He has two abilities, LunarMoon and Enrichment.
Lunar moon is practically the blood moon curse but he doesn't have to die to activate it, he can use it has many times as he wants and he can cover a really large radius (as large as the entirety of Europe)

Lunar moon works the same way as Blood moon, demons come from hell to kill everyone that the user wants dead.

The Enrichment ability is practically just a forcefield against all curses and most abilities, it also gives the user improves physical performance.

Richard wears a knights Armour and never takes it off, he also has a red cape with it and he has a sword.

Then we have Ashley. She has one ability and that's Heavenly help or whatever I called it (i forgot) but in this case it mostly works like lunar moon but at a much lower scale. The Angels are practically immune to spiritual attacks from the white dragon ability.

Ashley never goes into battle herself but instead watches as her angels do all the work for her.

Her ability far exceeds everyone else with her same ability. Her Angels are much more stronger and could wipe out a whole city in an hour.

So, it wears a pair of black gloves to hide its hands. To hide its skull face, it puts skin and flesh on it, but it is unable to cover it up fully, so it wears an eyepatch to conceal half of its face. It also wears a black hoodie to conceal that his face is pasted on. (Lorewise, it's a cloak, but I have a black hoodie with a massive hood.)

And I will be cosplaying this next week.

So, the cult leader has mind control powers, and that's how she's able to recruit super powered individuals into her cult. And she effectively grooms them into being proper "superheroes", giving them a costume, name, etc... The one thing all of her costumes share in common is that they don't have any masks. She believes that every superhero should be open with who they are to the world. What she really believes though is that everyone with superpowers should only be superheroes answering to her. No individuality. No civillian persona. Just a network of superheroes that revere her as a god, as their saviour. There is one superpowered individual whom she was unable to recruit, despite numerous attempts: ||Evilectric||. She needs to be concentrating in order to use her powers, so she can't use them while she's asleep. Now, during that time, most people in the cult are already convinced that it's not a cult (as most people in cults do). However, there are some that are able to come to their senses for that brief period where they aren't being mind controlled, but lose that independence as soon as she wakes up, and have to regain it again the following night.

Emily was recruited into the cult when she was 9, shortly after her powers manifested. She was given a superhero costume and a superhero name: "Animal Boy" (remember Emily is AMAB), and she would be sent on missions such as rescuing cats from trees, finding lost dogs, etc... Basically anything that involves animals since she could speak to them. During night time, when the mind control had stopped, Emily was able to realise that something was wrong, both with this and with her gender. She starts keeping a diary every night and writing down every single thought she has before they're eventually erased the next morning, and hiding the diary in her pillow, so that she can remember it's there the next night. This is when she's about 13, 4 years after she was recruited. Each night, she reads her diary trying to piece together her own memories and thoughts, then one night, she sees a poster of herself in her superhero suit that her parents (who are very supportive of the cult) put on her wall. And upon seeing that, she immediately went "This isn't me." She hated seeing her face on the poster, because it told the world that she was a boy and she was a superhero; neither of which she wanted to be. So, she hid her face behind an eyepatch and ran away, as far away as she could so that the mind control couldn't reach her, and after days of walking, she found a quiet forest, and you know the rest.

The synopsis I told you is the old one This story takes place in the same universe as the one I've told you about before This story revolves around this kid named Eric.

When he was 10, the shadow samurai (the one I’ve mentioned before who has puppet and shadow powers) went to his home village looking for a gemstone, so him and his army end up destroying the village, burning everything down in search of the stone. And sadly, his parents and siblings were one of the many hundreds who died because of this (He was not present when they died, so he found out after the shadow samurai’s army left). The shadow samurai’s army didn’t find the stone they were looking for.
Needless to say, this rock was really important.

Eric cried for hours after finding this out.
While he was super sad, like days later. He took a walk around some mountains near his former village. There he found the a glowing rock the size of a small meteor, it was the rock that the samurai was looking for.
Upon touching the sword, it gave him abilities. He gained the speed, fire, an ability that lets him sense his surroundings without seeing it directly, immortality and the source ability (this ability allows the user to have a 10% chance of absorbing an ability of someone they directly kill).

He took the rock to a swordsmith (the rock is a metal btw) and asked him to make it into a sword for him. The smith feeling bad for him, made into a sword. And he learnt how to fight for 5 years and left to go find the samurai that killed his family.

  • Once someone fully breaks free from mind control, they can never be mind controlled again. Emily is the only known person to have broken free from mind control.

  • The forest that Emily made her home has a magic seal around it that protects its inhabitants from the influences of pure evil, such as the cult leader's mind control. Emily was initially unaware of this, and had assumed it was just a normal forest. The animals of the forest are the ones that tell her the truth.

  • Emily has panic attacks at the thought of anyone finding out her deadname, her powers or her true face (without the eyepatch). Claire and the animals of the forest are the only exceptions to this rule (though she won't share her deadname for obvious reasons).

  • The cult paints Evilectric as a monster that wants to plunge the world into chaos and anarchy, and makes its members deathly afraid of him. When Emily encounters him years later when he's searching for the elemental amulets to stop the Soul Demon from rising again, she remembers the cult's teachings and sees him as nothing but pure evil; wanting to destroy the forest. But a part of her realises that beings of pure evil cannot enter the forest, which means that there was some good in him. During that entire interaction, Emily doesn't speak a word. Years later, they encounter each other again, this time as allies, to save the world from the cult leader's mind control, including Emily's wife, Claire.

But the main one is a guy who was admitted to a mental hospital when he was younger for a condition he didn't have. While there, he developed telekinetic abilities, which greatly helped as he was trapped in a straitjacket pretty much all day every day. A few years later, he was released from the hospital after a psych re eval by a new doctor, but because he hadn't been able to use his arms in years and was so used to moving things psychically, he saw his arms as useless and thought that he could only use his powers if he didn't have them. So he attempted to self amputate his arms only to be stopped by his friend at the last minute. He was readmitted to the hospital and is now required to wear a straitjacket 24/7 to prevent this from happening again. Doctors have tried to convince him that his powers work even if he has arms, but he can't comprehend that. Unlike the first time, he is allowed to leave the hospital, but he must be under strict supervision and his jacket must stay on at all times.
