#Unstable HomeAssistsant

Hmm
Don't think this is it
It's not my entities going missing. It's the whole core of HomeAssistsant
nah
the logic is that
because of other stuff, the core gets overloaded
and this could, perchance, fix that
by tidying up the place
did you monitor the resources of your machine?
ram, cpu
etc
disk usage (!)
This is how it looks for me on a daily basis: https://imgur.com/gallery/dsBPWre
I for one have noticed that my HA tends to fail whenever my disk usage becomes overloaded
Not systematically, but when I look I use less than 10% across the board (CPU, ram, disk)
I have 128GB I believe
Way more than I need
for instance whenever the "backup before install" option is selected, it just crashes when it tries to write on the disk that much data at once (for some reason)
Do you use an SD card?
no, hdd
it's a VM
an old laptop
10yo methinks
I am at around 70% usage accross the board
with the rest going towards Windows
anyway, you might be right and that integration might not have anything to do with it, but I'll install it and see
Hmm you mentioned you have the HA blue. Why not run HA on that instead of on a VM on Windows?
@hearty sphinx I do use HA on the Blue - not sure I understand your question
@somber path I finally got too tired of constantly loosing connection, and noticed that I am getting "Reset Adapter" warnings.
I think this issue is very related: https://github.com/home-assistant/operating-system/issues/1130
