Something I might try instead of the input_boolean is the input_select. Instead of just having an on/off option, I could potentially have more options to use.

I've been working on my multi-input lighting automation based on the one you exported for me, but I definitely had to make some changes for my environment. I'm wondering if you have idea about the following:

The night leg of the automation works fine to turn on the lights, but not for off. It's using your trigger node, but I've also got some json in the Call Service that sets the brightness. Because off this, turn_off fails.

I'm wondering if there's a way to collapse everything to the right of "Automation Enabled" and just do everything in payload modifications.
