#Do you have a free Google account or a

I have always find hard to understand the right steps to setup
Okay when I get to this page
https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/credentials/consent
It asks me Internal or External. I am choosing Internal because it's only me that's using it, not the public.
Interesting. It only lets me choose External.
I guess free accounts can only choose External because they aren't in an organization.
i cant make it internal i do not have a "Because youβre not a Google Workspace user, you can only make your app available to external (general audience) users."
That isn't really important since you won't have other users. And if you did, you can just add them to your test users list anyway.
as you said π
:)
Okay, so now it's asking for your app name and such. You can just say whatever you want. No one will see it except you, and maybe not even you after you set it up the first time.
And you can change these later if you do need to for some reason, like if you decide to make this same project do more things that will be exposed to people.
I can't attach screenshots. Hmm.
Well, after choosing External and submitting it, it takes me to the next page which asks me for the app name, support email, etc.
If you do have that page to fill out, only the fields with * are required.

Verification not required
Your consent screen is being shown, but your app has not been reviewed so your users may not see all of your information, and you will not be able to request certain OAuth scopes. Learn more

OAuth user cap
The user cap limits the number of users that can grant permission to your app when requesting unapproved sensitive or restricted scopes. The user cap applies over the entire lifetime of the project, and it cannot be reset or changed. Verified apps will still display the user cap on this page, but the user cap does not apply if you are requesting only approved sensitive or restricted scopes. If your users are seeing the "unverified app" screen , it is because your OAuth request includes additional scopes that haven't been approved.
this is what i see atm
Okay I'll fill out my screen and see if I'll get to that one
it is just the same screen from the url you shown earlier
Okay I'm at that screen now.
You must have filled out that form somehow at some point. That's good.
the only thing i did was pressing a button on the top but i should have made a screenshot π¦
possible
Did you ever see a screen that said anything about a test users list?
On that screen you copy/pasted, you might see a test users area if you scroll down, and an Add Users button. Do you see your email address in the list below that button? If not then click the Add Users button and then add yourself to the list.
Step #11 seems to think it's necessary, though I'm not sure it should be since it's your own project, but it's better to do it now rather than have it fail and deal with that.
i have no option to enter step 8
and i have no idea how to go to step 9
owww i needed to enter "edit app"
cool im now at 11b (setting up the test user(
Hmm but i did not see "test users" But a screen for extra info about the app.
when i hit save and continue it shown the summery as written.
the last steps are relative easy. thanks for having a second par of eyes.

I'm trying to use the VSCode Server via my phone and it's a bit awful. Haha
I guess I should have just used the Editor Addon instead.
do you use the os version?
Of HA? Yeah, on a Pi 4 B.
