#Smart Door Locks

I have been looking at the August Smart Locks - for deadbolts - with a separate PIN pad backup- seems like a good option, but $260 (Connector + Lock + PIN Pad) seems fairly high
Aqara had these that looked interesting - and I've had good luck with their sensors - but they are mortoise (not common in the US) and I couldn't find prices for them readily, but I like how much functionality they support

I'm very happy with my Yale Conexis and Keyless locks with #z-wave modules.
ugh.... getting really tired of my Yale August battery issues. no low battery alerts and HA seems to always measure a percentage in the 90s (as if it's not really reporting battery values)
it quietly stops autolocking when batteries are low.
for a lock, to lose a basic feature without alerting seems just bonkers.
