I bought one and am testing it out. I think it might work with the Alexa integration.

Maybe not ... I can't get the Alex integration to work anyway at this point. As I read more of the Alexa integration it seems that it's only meant to integrate with the devices you already have in HA and has nothing to do with your Amazon devices.
