#Switching from SmartThings

Hi,

I am a current SmartThings / webCoRE / ActionTiles user and getting more disgruntled at Samsungs high-handed way of changing the app and losing features that I consider important. Also, I think it best to have a local solution for my smart home control rather than being cloud dependent.

My choices seem to be Home Assistant and Hubitat.

I don’t want to invest money and time into either of those if I am later to find that some of my devices won’t work fully.

I use:
LIFX bulbs
Lightwave rf Gen 2 sockets and light dimmer switches
Fibaro multi sensors
Fibaro blind relays
Nest Hello doorbell
Tahoma hub (for awning control)
Google and Alexa voice control (using simulated devices as triggers to start their routines and also setting them as triggers for webCoRE)
Samsung buttons

Q. Can anyone confirm which of the above devices will work with HA?

Q. Has anyone made a similar switch away from Samsung and how was your experience?

Google is your friend for these questions. Anything supported by Home Assistant will be findable via web search.
I moved from SmartThings to HA by enabling the SmartThings connector in HA, then moving one thing at a time over as I figured out how to.
If you go that route, I suggest going through everything in SmartThings and renaming it (for instance with an "ST_" prefix) so you can easily tell if you've moved it over.
