The problem, IMHO, is that the information from the measurement of exterior temperature using the weather component does not accurately reflect the actual min, max, and mean values. Calculating these values correctly, e.g. it got down into the high 50's (F) last night, but the actual measurement for minimum temperature did not remain low as the temperature of the day increased.

Perhaps this effect is intended; in which case the standard statistics platform remains the appropriate solution to calculate these values.

Ah, ha! Back to statistics -- maybe they'll add an option to change the duration.

Nope, it is made to be long term history

#

so we store 24 points a day, instead of all the state changes
