I tried to pair a matter/wifi light bulb today and after a few failing attempts the device eventually was adopted by HA.
I am using Matter Server 8.5.0 and HA 2026.5.4. I used the mobile app for onboarding. I think in the end I managed to repeat the onboarding process twice successfully. After the first one the UI on the Android Companion mobile App did not show the new device so I assumed something went wrong. I repeated the process (resetting the light bulb, onboarding using QR code once again) and also this time the app would report a successful adoption but still did not show the new device in the UI. I assume the mobile app had a stale cache (observed that behavior in other places as well) as the device did show up in the browser UI and after restarting the Android Companion App also there. The Problem I am facing now are duplicate, zombie entities for the Device which cannot be removed (see attached images). All of the duplicate entities show up as unavailable.
How can I clean this up?
