Hi! I am looking for a BLE tracker that is in keychain form, works with Home Assistant, is available for purchase in the EU, and ideally can be tracked via an Android app (which can be closed source) but also able to broadcast BLE data while within range of the phone. I got a Chipolo, it works with Home Assistant (albeit by having to find its MAC address and tweak configuration files), but if the phone is within range, it doesn't broadcast anything in order to save battery.
The use case is that my dad has a spare key to my home. I want to know when he's here to automatically disable the alarm, but he also wants to be able to ping his keys from his phone because he tends to lose them all the time.
