After a couple of weeks, my widgets created using the Home Assistant Companion app clear their data, losing all settings and icons. I can confirm that I didn't clear any data or storage for the app.

What device are you on? What widgets are you using?

Samsung Galaxy S10e. 10 or so widgets- actions and entities I believe. Mostly actions.

By any chance do you enter ultra power saving mode at any point?

#

Samsung has an issue with our app and ultra power saving mode where it does mess up with our app

That's a high possibility as the battery likes to go dangerously low.

I've tried to reach out to them about it I never got any answer ...

#

it's not really the same

#

but since you are on a quite old device I wouldn't be surprise that the behavior is different

#

so when it comes back from the ultra power mode it loose the configuration ... On the newer version the widgets are cleared (removed from the launcher) but on older verison I wouldn't be surprised that it simply stays empty ...

Thanks and sorry about the inconvenience ... It's not on our side unfortunately

If you disable the ultra saving mode it's going to avoid the issue but well it's anoying

#

normal saving mode should be ok

Interestingly it's called Power Saving not Ultra Power Saving

I guess Ultra is on the newer version
