Hello,

This product is pretty new to the market, and probably doesn't have an integration (yet). But I think it would be neat to get this on my home dashboard for me and the family to see.

https://tincan.kids/

It's a VoIP phone for kids to call their friends (those that have the same phone/service). There is a companion Apple/Android app for parents to setup and monitor call logs, times, etc.

My kids are always asking if anyone called and who is actively calling when it's ringing (just pick it up and ask... I know). I thought it would be neat to show the call log on my HA dashboard so the kids can see when they get home what missed calls the have and from who.

If you have a feature request for Home Assistant you can open one here. Feature requests for custom cards, integrations, etc. should be made to the developer of that custom card/component.

From their privacy policy (Admittedly a snippet and out of context):

We may disclose children's information to companies that provide services to us

You are paying to be a part of market research where they monitor children to learn how to better advertise to the next generation.

Its not a communication company its a data harvester that targets children that dresses it up to get parental consent.

# steady marsh Damn, I didn't see that. Thanks for letting me know. I'm going to retract my sub...
Parent's Rights: Parents can:

    Review: See the information we can associate with their children;

    Delete: Ask us to erase the information we can associate with their children; and

    Opt Out: Parents can revoke their consent so we stop collecting or using their children's information.

You may have to specifically opt out and delete the data as well as killing the sub.
Based on a quick skim, killing the sub doesn't seem to do it automatically.

I suspect they are going to try and sell this to schools to get them to use it in such a way that parents are basically forced to consent in order for child to participate.

Yeah, that's what it's looking like to me. I'm carefully reading the privacy policy right now.
