#Remote Access broken

Last week Remote Access via NabuCasa cloud seemed to brake.
Steps that i tried:

  • Reboot
  • Toggle Connection on and off
  • Log out and back in
  • Disable IPv6 and Reboot
  • another Reboot
  • Change DNS to Cloudflare

I can ping the Internet and resolve Public DNS entries.
Settings show me Not connected. Trying to reconnect.
This weekend my public xyz.ui.nabu.casa Frontend stopped showing me trying to reconnect but a TLS error.

Someon got any Ideas on how to fix it? Support is not very helpful.

We are the same support here. Have you tried resetting cloud data (clearing your certificate and requesting a new one)?

Remote access is being prepared. We will notify you when it's ready.
it changed to a diffrent message. so i guess i'll have to wait?
i dont want to seem rude. i was getting a bit frustrated and didnt think that it should break, when nabucasa is initiating the transaction.

we don't initiate it. It's a reverse proxy so HA always is the one to reach out and make the connection. Nabu casa doesn't know how to reach your server if HA doesn't make the call out. The certificate is managed by HA and stored there too. So whenever the connection drops, or if there's a problem with the certificate, there's an issue on the HA side which needs to be investigated, or an issue with the subscription/payment.
