When attempting to upgrade Alpha or ESP8266 w/ 160Mhz CPU, the upgrades fail. Alpha provide the following error, and 160Mhz provides no error

So this appears to be fixed in the latest HA update, that is supposed to come out tomorrow ?

2026.5 is indeed scheduled for release tomorrow (or "today" depending on your timezone)

Ill wait for the release to upgrade my WLED devices running Alpha, and 160Mhz..

I can confirm that Alphas and 8266_160s now update..

Hmm... Odd.. I just tried to update my last device, and I get this..

Hmm.. Looked at the board, and the bin it was running was SerKo_0.16.0, so I guess that's where the upgrade bin name came from.
