Hey all. I got my PoE+ kit a few months ago and due to some life events was only able to sit with it this weekend. It seems that it bricked itself when trying to follow this guide (https://support.nabucasa.com/hc/en-us/articles/25485061432093-Reinstall-the-Home-Assistant-Operating-System-on-Raspberry-Pi-CM5 on a macbook) to move fix the included SSD which I accidentially moved to the EMMC install from

Does anyone know how to bring one of these things up from scratch or is there any doucmentation perhaps that I am missing?

So far I have gotten it installed, my network shows the device at 192.168.1.100 with the hostname homeassistant, but nmap can't find it and neither can any browser

The red light goes on, the others flash a bunch, the green light stays on for a few seconds and then the cycle repeats itself

Yellow has no monitor connection you need to connect it to another system and use the USB serial interface to get to a terminal. Documentation for Windows / Mac/Linux.

I would pull the SSD and clear it of everything including all partitions on another system. (blkdiscard on linux)
Reinstall the yellow as per guide.
boot to ensure its working.
reinstall SSD.
then can move data disk to the SSD in the home assistant webui.

This would give a completely fresh install.

I ended up pulling the SSD, flashing it to be blank and then everything started working perfectly normal

#

I then copied over the data directory and Home Assistant has been working flawlessly
