Hello, sorry if this should be in another section i'm a noob in home assistant, i'm trying to configure my zigbee smart switch TS0601
by _TZE204_3t91nb6k but i have no clue how to do this

i'm using home assistant green with a zbt t1, i went to zigbee and add new device, it found the switch, but now when i press on the physical buttons to put the lights off, my light bulbs don't show up anymore in home assistant?? i bought this switch just to avoid this at all so i don't understand what i should do?

look up smart bulb mode or zigbee binding assuming youre using smart bulbs also. The way the switch is configured now you're killing power to the bulbs-- that's why they are disconnecting from HA.

is it possible that my switch doesn't have this function??? please tell me that's not it, i paid 20 euro for this switch, i also bought wires and wagos for another 20 euro just for this shit 😭

Honestly, it’s a tuya switch and anything tuya is completely hit or miss.

And all my switches are zwave so I don’t have a rec for you. The only one I know for sure has this function in zigbee is from inovelli, but I don’t think they sell outside of North America.

i will... just bought this cuz it was really pretty, and cheap ofcourse

#

ughhh

#

i'll try that zigbee2mqtt, i don't have many zigbee devices configured anyways... if this doesn't work well then i think i can throw this away 😢

couldn't fix it.... i'm wondering, could i fix this witha smart relay? or replace it? i really just want the bulb to just be powered at all time when i use a physical switch

Shelly is pretty much the thing to buy

#

They can do mostly any relevant protocol with their current gen ones and quality wise they are alright as well as fully local (even if you prefer wifi)

Just to clarify, you have smart bulbs in the socket and want to control them from a wall switch in addition to via HA?

#

I am not sure if the Shelly switch input can be responded to by automation only and not also control the attached bulb

They usually have detached relay modes available
