Oz Smart Things Pty Ltd

Smart Zigbee 1 Gang Switch (White) Zigbee Single Light Switch,No Neutral Required, Works with Google, Alexa and Apple Homekit through Our Zigbee Hub.  Zigbee is a communication protocol that creates a network with small, low-power digital radios, such as for home automation! Networks that work locally do not interfere

yah they will work, my dongle is zigbee2mqtt and they say they work with ha and zigbee2mqtt

If you OK with an initial internet connection to set the bulbs up then WiZ Connected are OK, once configured they are local control and use WiFi to coonect to HA

pretty much only recommend the new line of hue bulbs (zigbee) which are much cheaper than their other options, lifx (wifi, need the app to setup initially then never again), or maybe Wiz (wifi)

WiZ and Hue are the same business, WiZ generally cheaper than Hue

they are totally different beasts to get working though.

INNR works good too

I'm currently using lifx in my room and they are working fine but weren't very cheap when I first got them

#

Now looking at lifx website they seem to be way cheaper that hue

I'll happily use ZigBee if it's reliable and cheaper though

I can see no compelling reason to switch away from Zigbee. So will keep going with it so long as you can buy stuff. I have spares as well. 109 devices, entirely organically grown network. 3 years in and it gives no grief whatsoever. Combee 2 and ZHA.
