The Zooz ZEN17 has two inputs that can be configured a number of ways. The documentation states:
IMPORTANT: If you set this parameter to value
4-10, you’ll need to exclude and re-include the
device (without changing any settings) so that
a child device is created for the input of your
choice!
OK, sounds cool. I used input Type 10 which is
on/off report (dry contact switch/sensor)
I excluded and re-included the device but don't see anything different. I still have a single new Z-wave device (for the Zen17), no apparent changes in the device dashboard, no new sensor inputs. But I'm wondering if I'm misunderstanding what I'm seeing (or not seeing), maybe there IS something new but I don't know where to look? I was expecting two new devices or entities that would indicate the state of the two inputs. All I seem to have are 3 "Controls" (whatever those are)
Anyone have any ideas? I've got an email into Zooz support as well and will post any info they have here.
