#Level 2 EV charger recommendation in the US (no cloud service)

I'm looking for a Level 2 EV charger that I can connect directly to my local wifi network (or Z Wave hub). My electrician will install a ChargePoint charger, which connects over wifi, but requires their cloud service to do and I'd like to avoid that sort of external dependency.

I'm not the handiest person, so something like the this EVSE charger is intimidating to build, but I might be able to hand it off to my electrician to manage. Does anyone have experience with this charger and HA? Should I choose something else?

My goal is to be able to manage charging schedules and be able to monitor my energy consumption with an HA integration.
