Is it possible to edit the Python AppDaemon configuration files with the VS Code app?
I've installed both, I can see the ESPHome Builder app configuration files for example, but not the Python AppDaemon configuration files.

It is under the addon_configs directory.

I tried adding the apps.yaml/testapp.py and reloaded the container, but that didn't work

you had the config directory open addon_configs is on the same level as that and not within it.
ESPHome is a special case, because files need to be shared between different containers sometimes.
