#Where do i put zigbee router.

I get the feeling that you could be using the word "router" incorrectly here...
Are you using as the "Coordinator" or do you have a separate Coordinator and you are just using this a "Router" to grow out your mesh?
Apologies i haven't been in the topic for a long time and forgot. Yes I am planning on setting up zigbee network and using SLZB-06M as a coordinator
So in general having the coordinator more central is a good idea but if you have a solid mesh with a bunch of devices acting as routers then its not critical.
Oh ok , does every zigbee device act as a router for mesh?
In general, if a device is hardwired to power then it will act as a router. e.g. a smartplug. whereas a battery powered device e.g door sensor will not. This is not a 100% rule but it is mostly true. Basically hardwired devices are wake all the time and can listen and relay whereas battery powered devices go to sleep so they are not listening whilst sleeping.
All right , i understand it now
Thank you!
Keep in mind there are middle ground options as well. Instead of running to the attic, you could run a line along the wall/floor line to put the radio away from the computer running thjngs
