I have over 4300 sensor entries in MQTT Explorer that were added by RTL433 (RTL433 has been removed) and I am also seeing poor performance from MQTT devices. Can MQTT be removed/reinstalled and if so will it recreate its device entries?

You can just remove the topics using MQTT Explorer and HA will no longer see them or create the devices

can you select more than one topic at a time?

In a pinch, you can just delete the entire homeassistant tree and let real services re-populate it

I've done that when a second Z2M instance created a bunch of stale topics

Thank you for the clarification. Only one entry at a time can be selected and I have a few thousand. I was not sure if valid entries would repopulate after deletion.

you may just need to restart any other services so that they re-publish
