TP-Link and Tapo (mentioned because I believe they're one in the same) is back to giving errors again. This issue has happened in the past, has been fixed in version updates, and has come back repeatedly. Oddly enough, my TP-Link Power Strip doesn't have this issue, and works great. Only seems to be the Tapo15 plugs.
I've taken the usual steps of:
- Toggling the Third Party Access
- Removing the device from both the integration and the app, and readding it.
- Changing my Tapo password.
- Removing any special characters from said password
- Reinstalling the integration
But I am still getting the following error (IP removed for security reasons):
Unable to authenticate: Unable to complete handshake: 192.x.x.x
TRANSPORT_UNKNOWN_CREDENTIALS_ERROR(1003) (error_code=TRANSPORT_UNKNOWN_CREDENTIALS_ERROR)
Anyone have this issue with TP15 plugs and get it to work within the past few weeks?
