Not 100% sure this is the right place, but did ask in the find a channel.

I'm using z2m for my phillips hue remote in my games room and its working fine as intended. I use the "ultimate Hue Remote Controller via Z2M blueprint.

It is detected and working fine, shown in the first picture. It is exactly the same model and firmware as the bedroom hue remote, (picture 2) However the bedroom hue remote doesnt appear to as an option in the blueprint when I try to amend the existing automation, or when I start a new automation.

I can see the device trigger events being captured, and can create manual automations for the triggers.

Both devices do show up in the MQTT integration

I would assume there is a post in the forum blueprint exchqange for "ultimate Hue Remote Controller via Z2M blueprint". I would ask there. Otherwise if they have a git repo that might be the place.
Check where the blueprint is downloaded from. They are the authors of the blueprint and finding help in random locations is not as likely to be successful.
