From what I understand, I can use the web interface and a REST API to control what happens on the page and what gets input where on the page. But I feel like I'm either getting too far into the woods, or not enough. Does anyone have a good starting point? I just want an automation that turns my projector on or off based on clicks (and a password input) on a website, and check if it's on or off based on clicks on a website. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction! All my lights, and my amp work amazingly! Really happy I started this project.

Does it have a remote. There are ways HA can simulate a remote to turn stuff on, etc.

It does! I have been thinking about an IR blaster, but because you cannot check the state of the object, I wasn't sure. Maybe if there were some kind of network app that could check the state of an object? Let me check. I'll get back to you!
