I tried to update to 6.0.0 and get the following in my logs ```Logger: homeassistant.components.websocket_api.http.connection
Source: components/websocket_api/commands.py:332
integration: Home Assistant WebSocket API (documentation, issues)

[546273592800] Error during service call to update.install: Error updating File editor: 'AddonManager.update' blocked from execution, plugin(s) cli are not up to date and auto-update is disabled``` I have recently updated both esphome and esphome beta with no issue.
I have done repair Supervisor, rebooted and no change.

I just tried to install a new app and get 'AddonManager.install' blocked from execution, plugin(s) cli are not up to date and auto-update is disabled so something has changed since I have updated to the latest OS 17.2 or the latest supervisor 2026.03.3

I am on HAOS 17.2 and Supervisor 2026.03.3 as well and were able to update the File Editor.
I'd try a full host reboot to restart all components of HAOS.

#

I did this

#

I am running ha su repair, then ha core rebuild and then ha host reboot.

compact garnet
#

That should usually help.

wooden abyss
#

I hope so, I have not had any issues like this in years

compact garnet
#

If it doesn't, it might be caused by a filesystem corruption.

wooden abyss
#

Is there a fix for this?

#

Other then reinstal

#

reinstall

the only thing in the supervisor log is 2026-04-08 15:36:35.544 WARNING (MainThread) [supervisor.jobs] 'AddonManager.install' blocked from execution, plugin(s) cli are not up to date and auto-update is disabled

#

Very strange to be corrupt as I have not have any shutdowns, or lose of power. Only reboots / restarts where from either core update , HACS or app updates that require a restart

compact garnet
#

You might also try to set a static IP. For some people that seems to work.

wooden abyss
#

I saws this on one of my searches. I have the IP set from my router. I can try this after the shutdown / restart completes.

#

Would a supervisor update help?

compact garnet
#

2026.03.3 is the newest version already.

wooden abyss
#

No difference with static after the reboot

#

can I do the docker pull home-assistant/amd64-hassio-cli:2023.10.0. that is in the article that you linked from SSH?

#

If so, I need to know which is the latest so I can remove and install per the directions

compact garnet
#

It would need to be a physical shell or the debug SSH. Not sure if the Advanced Terminal app in unprotected mode can do that. The normal one can't.

wooden abyss
#

I have the debug ssh

#

I just do not know what version to get

#

This is what is in the 2915 issue

#

docker rmi home-assistant/amd64-hassio-cli:2023.10.0 ; docker pull home-assistant/amd64-hassio-cli:2023.10.0.

compact garnet
#

With docker ps you should be able to find the version running.

wooden abyss
#

that is what it says. Is this correct?

compact garnet
#

If you try it, do what sairon said and just adjust the version number.

wooden abyss
#

I'm confuse

#

with the version number due to how it wraps in my terminal window

#

I believe this is the version

compact garnet
#

Then go for it.

wooden abyss
#

running the core check there are no errors

compact garnet
#

Core check does nothing with containers.

wooden abyss
#

What version of cli do you have? Do I need to first remove and then pull

compact garnet
#

I'm not home and can't look it up.
And sairon told to remove and then pull... So yes.

wooden abyss
#

I get error response from daemon: conflict: unable to remove repository reference

compact garnet
#

I think it will be faster, if you secure a backup and encryption key, reinstall and restore the backup.

wooden abyss
#

Maybe, thanks for trying to help. I'm concerned that it can get corrupted with no errors? This is not good.

#

talk later

compact garnet
#

It might be corruption. It is not proven.

wooden abyss
#

And if it is not corruption then wht?

compact garnet
#

A software failure.

wooden abyss
#

So I will wait on doing a reinstall as I would rather figure out what it is

compact garnet
#

Okay.
