#Ran a few updates and now OTBR broken ugh

cross-posting here with Matter tag as recommended.

Applied a few updates this morning to bring HAOS and Supervisor to latest versions along with the SLZB-MR1 coordinator. Now the OTBR Integration indicates "Failed setup, will retry: Unable to connect". The OTBR App/Add-on isn't starting, trying manually by clicking "Start" tries to for a few seconds, but then does not. I've tried restoring a few different backups, but it still won't kick on resulting in the attached log.

The SLZB-MR1 indicates "Thread Not connected", which I'm presuming is a result of OTBR not running.

Seeking help on getting this back up.

I have the same issue after fw update 3.27 - SLZB-MR3: Radio 1 [EFR32MG24] modus Matter-over-Thread and Radio 2 [CC2674P10] modus Zigbee-coördinator. Z2M works okay, I updated to 3.28 today but some issue. I have the idea that the latest firmware caused this. Are you also on core 3.27 and Matter over Thread radio2: Revision: 20251218 and radio1 (Z2M) I have an old firmware as recent ones are development firmwares: Revision: 20240716.

was thinking along those lines @limpid plover , thanks for that. I reflashed the OS back to previous version, reflashed Thread firmware with same version, then restored a HA OTBR backup from yesterday. Looks like that got it going. I guess the next test would be to see if it works without reflashing the OS to previous version, your results seem to support that.

Seems to me the SLZB components are in a constant state of beta. Previous they had a update which broke all. Now this again with the OTBR as they add something which is not even tested in a production firmware. I am pitty I did not order the NabuCasa unit... maybe time to migrate.
