Since 2026.4, I have been seeing issues with electricity cost input from the BottleCapDave Octopus electricity current accumulative cost sensor. ChatGPT suggests that this sensor is being dropped by HA as it is not monotonic and can decrease as well as resetting when Octopus rolls tariff periods.
I am not sure if this is real but if it is, then can I request a rethink on the restrictions being applied. Agile can and does go negative for extended periods especially during windy periods like today.
