My companion app is unable to send location on mobile network. However it can on both home and office wifi. Device is pixel 9 pro. S24+ also updates in the same behavior but I didn't confirm its troubleshooting log.

In pixel log, it says "ServerConnectionStateProviderKt: java.net.UnknownHostException: Unable to resolve host "_______.com": No address associated with hostname.

DNS should be working (insert always dns meme) because 1) everything else for HA is working. 2) I can nslookup on mobile data 3) it works on my workplace wifi. If I missed anything, pls let me know.

My setup is HA VM -> nginx proxy manger -> cloudflare domain name with cloudflare proxy on

dummy question, but you are able to use the app while on mobile? only the locations don't work?

I had something similar. Checked the Android permissions and it still didn't work.
I had to uninstall/reinstall the app making sure to check the location options on installation.
There seems to be an internal setting (or bug) for location permission that doesn't surface in the UI (I'm guessing here).
Having reinstalled, all the settings look the same, but now it works.
