Hi I was excited to hear, that HA has now a infrared integration. However when i think back on my Logitech infrared broadcaster, I found the really cool enabler was that i can record sequences from any source or remote from whatever device and was then able to transmit exctly this sequence and thus mimicing this remote. With this I was able to smartify almost every old device as long as it has a infrared remote.
Would be cool if this capability makes it into HA. Are there any discussions on this ?
