#Looking for a Cheap Temperature & Humidity Sensor with Display

Sonoff has a couple
Something like the SONOFF SNZB-02D would seem to fit your needs?
there also is the larger AirGuard TH
I vouch for the ' SONOFF SNZB-02D' as well.
I have 5-6 alongside 5-6 Aqaras and they are both very reliable.
Surprisingly the screen does not eat the battery THAT much faster than the Aqara screenless ones
Thanks. There aren't cheaper options out there by any chance?
Probably not with all the features you listed. A display is going to limit your options quite a bit really.
the price of those units is already cheap
Idk, I was using the xiaomi ones and they're like 5€ a piece. But the latest HW revisions fucked them up sadly
But they're on par with those sonoff with features
They're not expensive, yes, but if I need to buy a few, they stack up. They're going for about 13-15€ a piece
thats generally the wrong kinda thought to have for home improvements and smart home gear in particular
there is more being gained by waiting for another seasonal sale than trying to cut a buck to two per unit
the only thing thats "cheaper" would be the TIMMERFLOTTE from ikea, which doesnt have a display in that kinda realm and would use matter over thread
Not Zigbee, but if you are ok with Bluetooth, the ThermoPro TP350 gives you amazing battery life and accuracy and an always on display for ~12€
And this is why you don't get the 5 euros one 😛
If you get a 'brand name one' you are less at risk of having it being borked by firmware updates made by unpaid interns 😛
The cost cut needs to be somewhere
I did the mistake with Wifi RGBB bulbs, got 30 at 10-12$ a pop. and they all burned out eventually. Less than 2 years each. I now have philips hues since 7 years and 2 broke out of 30
Damn right. The hunt for cheap just results in boxes of junk. Not saying I’d go for those Philips bulbs or anything (but great if you do) but Sonoff is a great middle ground. I have 3 of those SNZB-02D and they’ve been great.
SNZB-02D are really good. I got 3, and the batteries lasts over a year in each
Which was my main concern with the screen
While constantly connected with zigbee?
It's not always like that, as I said old hardware revisions work very good
Yep
