#connect zbt-2

You may be better off asking this one in #1284966617670881350. However I don't think this is something that is easily done. It was actually mentioning in THIS nabu casa blog post yesterday about zigbee/zwave repeater firmware.
If you’re wondering when we’ll make a Thread repeater, due to the commissioning differences with Thread, it's a lot more complex to do this with our current technology. It would probably be a better option to make a Thread border router firmware, but we’re still exploring if this is possible.
I did read that, i know a repeater for thread is not possible (this moment) but a zbt-2 as a extra router perhaps, but it only has a usb connection and i need ethernet
There is work being done on having an option to use it via ethernet and I think there is some prototypes for it but realistically you cannot currently do it.
You "could maybe" pair it with something like a RPI and run a OTBR on that and then have that connect back to HA.
Realistically however... At this point you should probably look at other options.
i am not in a real hurry, so if the can be done with a couple of months. that's also fine
All ethernet based Thread radios available at moment tend to have stability issues.
an other option will be the: SLZB-MR4U Zigbee en Thread Ethernet PoE/USB/WIFI Adapter
but like i said first choice for me is the zbt-2
As I said - the Ethernet Thread radios often have stability issues. A bit too much lag and the Thread network becomes instable.
Last I heard the prototype for ethernet zbt-2 was running zigbee not thread. I am not convinced something would be ready within a couple of months. That said if you want to sit on it for a while to keep an eye on what happens you are in no worse position.
Realistically I think it seems the most stable is pairing it with a separate system running OTBR.
