#Why is Speech to Phrase burning up my CPU?

I don't even use Speech to Phrase and it's consuming 3x the CPU as the rest of my system? What's going on?

I removed the speech to phrase addon and my total cpu (N100) dropped from to 25% to 6% and temp dropped from 136F back down to 109F. The speech to phrase addon has been installed but unused for quiet a while and CPU spontaneously went up 4 hours ago ! WTF happened?
