I am wondering if anyone has recommendations, based on personal experience, for devices that work well as dedicated HA machines. I really like the Green in principle, but the fact it only has 4GB RAM makes me very reluctant – seems like sort of a starter device with very limited scalability.
I want to prioritize low idle power consumption, something that can (obviously) run 24/7, and automatically come back up after power interruptions. Based on those criteria, a Pi makes a lot of sense, but I would strongly prefer more of an off-the-shelf solution where I don't need to deal with getting a board, housing, RAM etc. all separately.
