In the Home Assistant app on my girlfriends Pixel 10 Pro XL, I'm seeing 'Unable to connect to Home Assistant. There was an error loading Home Assistant, please review the connection settings and try again. We will attempt to try another provided URL when you select Refresh.' and I can select Settings, Refresh External URL, and wait.

Home Assistant is able to be accessed remotely by my Pixel 10 Pro XL. What do I do?

I have reinstalled the app 3 times, deleted all of her devices twice, and I'm even able to get her in on the home WiFi and it's been working for months until recently (I think). What else am I missing?

Did you solve this? I am getting the exact same error. Just set up cloudflare tunnel and i am able to remotely connect through a browser just fine, but the app is giving me this exact same error.

I did not.

My biggest thing is that I've uninstalled and reinstalled Home Assistant, went through all the steps, and it works as long as I'm in home Wi-Fi, but the moment I switch to cellular it disconnects. But comparing my phone settings to hers I don't see a difference.

If you look at the settings in the Companion App, do you have different entries for 'Home Assistant URL' and 'Internal connection URL'.

The internal connection url should be what you configure to access home assistant when working on your wifi - http://192.168.1.10:8123 or http://homeassistant.local:8123

The external connection url would depend on how you access Home Assistant remotely and should be the publicly ip address. For example if you use a reverse proxy with a port forwarded from your router it should be the public ip address of your router (or the domain that points to this) ie. https://ha.my-custom-domain.com
