but sonoff dont do them only matter over wifi but is that better than zigbee

No, ZigBee is way better. Matter is not mature in a lot of devices

i have 2 sonoff dongle p which being used for zigbee2mqtt and i have another sonoff dongle max for openthread and matter

so i can use both but since it uses wifi is it even faster or better in anyway

i think its more power efficent to not use wifi and to use thread instead and thats why they did i think but im not too sure

matter is the new thing its just a bit new so ofc theres going to be some problems but they will be fixed and matter will get better

Well, when Matter is as reliable as ZigBee, it will be ok, meanwhile no way (for me)
