I am encountering a problem trying to pair a matter thread(?) device - the MYGGSPRAY motion sensor from IKEA. I have a ZHA-1 installed with the open thread border router and matter server addons. It's been persistently unable to connect the IKEA widget, with various peculiar networking related errors. Searches suggest that I need IPv6 enabled - which it is - and it needs to not be blocked by my firewall - it is not, as far as I can tell - but there's little information on what I should configure for my firewall if that is necessary for matterthread devices to work successfully.
I have an aqarahome doorbell camera, that claims to offer matter functionality, and it seems that HA is exclusively trying to talk to it, rather than the ZHA1 I spent a lot of money importing from europe. If I unplug the doorbell, my phone complains that it can't talk to AqaraHome network, even though that's not what it should be using at all!
Is there any way to have any kind of control over this stuff? This is a very frustrating experience, and i'm tempted to just bin matter as a viable solution in this house.
